Joachim Svensmark is a very talented guitarplayer. As a young boy he used to show up with his dad to be a part of the Thursday Jam Session. The inspiration in the early days was Jimmi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Today he's making a living with his guitar as the leadguitarist in Torbjørn Risager and The Black Tornado. 

This Saturday night he will go back in time and play all the goods from his early passion.

experimental unit JOACHIM SVENSMARK has
specialised in. They represent a harmonised balance
between blues, rock and soul and a modern indie
Lead singer Joachim Svensmark (born in Berkeley,
California in 1989) has been actively playing music
since his early childhood, playing venues all across
Denmark. He is best known from his flamboyant and
virtuosic guitar work in the multiple award-winning
band THORBJØRN RISAGER AND THE BLACK TORNADO, with whom he has toured all
over the world, and with whom he has made three records. This is where he met the trio’s
bass player and all-around musical innovator Søren Bøjgaard, who also plays the bass in
TR&TBT. Together with the equally virtuosic drummer Troels Drasbæk, JOACHIM
SVENSMARK forms an energetic powertrio that performs original songs written by
The band has already performed in several countries. Most recently, JOACHIM
SVENSMARK was invited to perform their latest single “Head First” on Joe Bonamassa’s
“Keeping the Blues Alive At Sea Mediterranean Cruise” at an event on the main stage
hosted by Ruthie Foster.
Three singles off of JOACHIM SVENSMARK’s debut record has been released to
streaming platforms so far, and the full album is coming out later this year.
