This Month Martin Marquart AKA Man Made Hope will host the open Stage.
Man Made Hope is an indie-folk band that blends lovely acoustic guitars and vocal
harmonies into a smooth and warm sound. After a long break since releasing their debut
album “Tangerine” in 2012 songwriter Martin Marquart is back with a bunch of new songs
with his relatable storytelling lyrics about love and emotions that can be difficult to talk about
and understand. The melodic vibrant guitar riffs and beautiful subtle piano played by Anders
Hougaard and Andreas Ringsmose creates a dreamy and melancholic atmosphere in the
songs. It's been some time but now the trio is finally back together and ready to play the new
songs with Martin Marquart being the host for Monday Juke Joint at Mojo this evening.
Hos Man Made Hope får du sangskrivning af den gamle skuffe. Her bliver vers og omkvæd
akkompagneret af rolig akustisk guitar og med vokalharmonier liggende langt fremme i
lydbilledet. Tempoet er langsomt og teksterne kredser med deres fortællende stil om
kærligheden og de følelser, der kan være svære at tale om og forstå.
De melodiske guitar-riffs og afdæmpede klaverakkorder spillet af hhv Anders Hougaard og
Andreas Ringsmose er sammen med sangskriver Martin Marquarts vokal med til at give
sangene en drømmende og melankolsk stemning. Det er nu efterhånden en del år siden, at
bandet udgav debutalbummet Tangerine, der bl.a fik en god modtagelse i Gaffa. Nu er Man
Made Hope denne aften tilbage på Mojo med nye sange og med Martin Marquart som vært
for Monday Juke Joint.
