Mojo Monday Juke Joint is an open stage event, mainly for singer songwriters, but as a Blues Venue there will always be room for a Bluessong.

Bring your instrument and show up and talk to the host.

In the "old days," a Juke Joint was a place with music, drinking, and gambling.

A Juke Joint was typically located at a crossroads on a main road in the southern USA.
Mojo is neither in the USA nor on a main road - but the atmosphere that this description evokes can easily be imagined as a part of Mojo.
Every Monday, there is an open stage for anyone who has a song in their heart.
Some call it singer-songwriter - we call it Monday Juke Joint.

English description Monday Juke Joint er en åben akustisk scene. I "gamle dage" var en Juke Joint et sted med musik, druk og gambling. Sådan en Juke Joint lå typisk i et kryds på en hovedvej i det sydlige USA. Mojo ligger hverken i USA eller på en hovedvej - men den stemning som den beskrivelse fremkalder, kan man let forestille sig være en del af Mojo. Hver mandag er der åben scene for alle der har en sang på hjertet. Nogen kalder det singer-songwriter - vi kalder det Monday Juke Joint.
