A dusty and atmospheric blues project, created by Irish singer/songwriter Richard Farrell, and the Danish producer / bassist Laust "Krudtmejer" Nielsen. Bringing the fruits of blues, gospel and soul together, with modern productions techniques, Trainman Blues have received high praise and have gathered a dedicated fanbase throughout Denmark, Europe and the US. Their debut album won best Blues Album at the 2018 Danish Music Awards. Their 2nd release, Shadows and Shapes, was released early in 2021. Received with tremendous reviews and yet again winning not only Best Blues Album at the DMA's, but also Best Live Band. Their new live album, 'Live from the Station ' was released on March 24th and his nominated for another Danish Music Awards for 2022.
The brainchild of Richard Farrell and Laust 'Krudtmejer' Nielsen, Trainman Blues, Embodies the old and raw elements of blues with present songwriting and soundscapes. Straight from the streets of Copenhagen, Denmark, with lots of soul.
TrainMan Blues er et støvet stemningsfuldt bluesprojekt der kom til verden i 2016, skabt af sangeren Richard Farrell fra Irland, og den danske producer/bassist Laust "Krudtmejer" Nielsen. De udgav deres tredje album "Live At The Station", i marts i 2022.
Bandet vandt i 2018 en Danish Music Award Blues for årets bedste album, med deres debut album, og i 2021 vandt de ligeledes både DMA Blues prisen for årets album, med opfølgeren "Shadows And Shapes", og 'Blues Liveprisen'
Med i omegnen af 100+ koncerter sammen, vil man opleve et stærkt sammenspillet og desuden oplagt band der spiller en blanding af originale numre fra deres to første studiealbums, samt nogle af deres favorit covernumre.
