Big Creek Slim and Li'l Dawnette have come together to take the sound of true Blues on the road and give the folks something special to enjoy.

Whilst many blues music lovers will already know the name of Big Creek Slim - Li’l Dawnette, is a new blues voice to our shores, all the way from Essex, England. With an effervescent presence, enchanting character, and powerful vocal stylings – her performance evokes memories of long forgotten female blues voices, many of whose spirited and sensitive contributions to the fabric of blues music, has been lost to time.

The unique collaboration of old salty Big Creek and sweet & sassy Li'l Dawnette, takes listeners on a musical journey, reminding them of the painful toil & loss on parched country fields; the many footsteps that walked the dirt roads from the Delta to far off cities; and then straight on through to the energy & exuberance of Saturday night juke joints and Sunday morning pleadings.

Their acknowledgement of traditional and differing Blues influences, compliments their own contrasting natural and raw musical talents - delivering on the good old blues frame, a freshness to their own new songs, and a reimagining of treasured and familiar tunes - which have never grown old.
