The Real Deal:

Gui/Voc: Benny Rehder aka Benny the Bobber, hca/voc Thomas Melau and gui/voc: Mattias Malm (S)

Benny and Thomas met one dark night at Mojo.
Since then, they have played around. Randers City Blues Festival, Mosten Race days Rudkøbing with Troels Jensen and Ronni Boysen, Kulturkrogen in lund... and several other venues.

In addition to the blues, Benny is the lead singer of Jonny Hose Power – A local Johnny Cash trio, and he also has a penchant for Rockabilly.

Mattias and Thomas have played together at the Malmö Festival from around 2008 with Steve Grahn Sweden's answer to Mr. Blues. In addition to this, Mattias is involved in the local music scene in Malmö, and has recently started a band inspired by RL. Burnside with the release of a couple of CDs so far.

Thomas is a regular guest at Mojo, and is the Harmonica player and singer in Ace Of Blues. In addition to this, he has played with a number of Danish, Swedish and foreign names. And appears on a number of CDs

 

TONIGHT they are The Real Deal.

 

The Real Deal står for solid Delta Blues.

Guitar/Vokal Benny Rehder aka Benny the Bobber, mundharpe/vokal Thomas Melau og Mattias Malm Guitar/Vokal.

 

Tilsammen tilbydes der fortolkninger af Robert Johnson, RL. Burnside, Slim Harpo, og andre af de gamle deltablues folk. Måske sniger der sig lidt Little Walter  og Johnny Cash ind over.ª

 

Benny og Thomas har spillet sammen siden de mødtes en mørk aften på Mojo.

Siden har de spillet rundt omkring bla. Randers City Bluesfestival, Mosten Race days Rudkøbing med Troels Jensen og Ronni Boysen, Kulturkrogen i lund …

 

Ud over blues er Benny forsanger I Jonny Hose Power  og har hang til Rockabilly.

 

Mattias og Thomas har spillet sammen på Malmø Festivalen fra omkring 2008 sammen med Steve Grahn Sveriges svar på Mr. Blues. Ud over dette er Mattias involveret i det lokale musik miljø i Malmø, og har som det seneste startet et band inspireret af RL. Burnside med udgivelse af indtil videre et par CD’er.

 

Thomas er en fast gæst på Mojo, og er en del af bandet Ace Of Blues. Ud over dette har han spillet med en række af danske, svenske og udenlandske navne. Og medvirker på en række CD’er
