Jon Roniger and The Good For Nothin’ Band proudly plays all original grease slicked, jazz licked, blues-rock, singer/songwriter music that draws wayward wanderers from the streets and pulls them to the dance floor. In only two years since the band’s inception, they boast a host of local residencies on the highly competitive New Orleans music scene. The band consists of Jon Roniger (singer/songwriter, guitar), Brendan Michael Bull (drums, vocal), Evan Paydon (bass), Russell Ramirez (trombone, vocal), and Jon Bauer (trumpet, vocal). For 200+ shows a year, Jon Roniger and The Good For Nothin’ Band tour nationally and internationally. "Maniac World", their first LP garnered rave reviews. Just Wednesday med Esben Just og Rasmus Hedeboe

“ Esben Just er nok landets førende New Orleans pianist med en lang karriere som bla. frontmand i SP Just Frost samt en række lignende triokonstellationer med bl.a. Niels Ratzer og Ole Skipper.
Esben Just var også med i Groovie Greasebags sammen med Johnny Sangster fra Sharing Patrol. Derudover har Esben optrådt med et hav af de "kendte" Sanne Salomonsen, Henning Stærk, Ivan P, Poul Krebs osv.
Men mest af alt er Esben Just en eminent underholdende solopianist.
Så hvad er mere naturligt end at kaste Esben ud i en række duo konstellationer som kan udfordre hans og sin medspillers musikalske universer.
Her i 2023 fortsætter vi med "Just Wednesday" med en række forskellige gæster. Der er lagt op til en række koncerter med Esben Just og en artist fra Miljøet - noget Blues, noget Jazz, noget Country - og noget - Banjopunk.....?

Jeg kan ikke helt huske hvor længe side det er, men hvis det er 20-25 år siden er det nok ikke helt forkert.
Jeg kan huske at jeg hørte en Rasmus Hedeboe på slap line, måske til en jamsession eller lign på Mojo - eller i Lades Kælder. I hvert fald tænkte jeg wow ! han ska nok blive til noget ved musikken - og ganske rigtigt. Når han ikke lige er på tour med Johnny Logan, eller Lars Hug, eller er ude i Europa for at indspille i legendariske omgivelser så spiller han som i aften med nogen af de gode. Rasmus er i sandhed en af de fede guitarister i Danmark, og sammen med Esben Just er der lagt op til musikalsk leg. Det bliver Esbens sange med Rasmus og Rasmus' sange med Esben og nok også nogle andres sange med dem begge.
