Et spændende besøg fra Canada - singersongwriting af den særlige slags.
"Equally regarded in both the alt-folk and trad jazz/blues worlds, Gabriel DeSantis has built a career on strong songwriting and musical versatility. Hailing from Toronto, DeSantis gained attention by self-recording the first Whitebrow album in a vacant 200-year-old church. The album’s strong reception allowed for DeSantis and the band to tour North America and caught the ear of twice Grammy nominated producer, Darryl Neudorf, who would work with the band on the follow-up record. Mono Vodou was produced by Neudorf and mastered by Peter J. Moore (Bob Dylan, Cowboy Junkies). Last year DeSantis moved to London and co-wrote “Stronger Than Love” with Robin Frederick, who also wrote “Been Smoking Too Long,” which was made famous by Nick Drake.
DeSantis continues to write and perform around London and host shows on his narrowboat."
