Louisa Kallona is a musician’s musician.
Of her many strength’s, Louisa’s most compelling talent is perhaps her stunning skill as an improvisor, feeling the groove and following the music.
It’s been said that Louisa Kallona could follow the sound of a camel grunting, while going up the wrong side of a road in heavy Chicago traffic.
Louisa has been playing fiddle and singing in bands since the early nineties, ranging from original folk/country rock music, a Ceilidh/rock 'n' roll band and a Greek progressive jazz rock band.
The Ceilidh band played up and down Scotland and England and had gigs in Ireland and India.
She has been playing rock, folk/rock, rock 'n' roll, Irish and country music in pubs in Greece, Denmark and Norway for the last six years.
Her musical aim is to get audiences smiling, grooving, whooping with joy and feeling powerful emotions all at the same time.
Louisa joining the father/daughter duo of Ray and Savannah Weaver at Mojo promises to be an incredibly special evening of music and stories.
