Flamenco er vel en slags spansk Blues ikke fordi det muikalsk er særlig ens - men indlevelsen og intensiteten har samme tendenser.
Denne torsdag før Blues Jam'en er det Saba Ibero og hans sanger Manuel Cortés som indtager Mojo med ægte flamenco.
" Saba Íbero flamenco guitarist, musician, composer. He was born the 12th of October 1983 in Tbilisi, Georgia capital city. When he was 15 years old he started learning classical guitar and he was 17 when he entered in the music school of the conservatory of Tbilisi. While he studied hard, he worked in several television, like "The sun and tv7" where he worked for 5 years as general sound manager. At 23 he headed for Spain in search of his childhood dream and nowadays he is the only one Georgian flamenco guitarist in the world of flamenco.
His new life started in Seville. He studied at the prestigious Academy of Flamenco Cristina Heeren where he learnt all flamenco languages and techniques thanks to eminent teachers like Eduardo Rebollar Peinado, Niño de Pura and Pedro Sierra. After finishing his studies, he developed his career as solo guitarist, thanks to his talent and his flamenco inspiration.
Saba Íbero is one of the main guitarists of the new young generation of flamenco guitar who are distinguished by their triumph over the ropes showing great maturity, expressiveness, temperament and outstanding technique that Saba Íbero turn into an intensely passionate and magic expression. He composes his own flamenco music, working on several projects. He likes to work as music scientist as well and he dedicates himself to the investigation of folk popular music of the world."
